ABOUT THE AUTHOR
My name is Georgina Puglisi, I am the author of the Dante The Wonder Chi series of childrenās books.
I am a grandmother of 2 beautiful boys aged 8 and 6 and my inspiration to write these books has come from my two grandsons and of course the great subject I have to write about ā Dante.
The books are written in rhyming verse with colourful illustrations for children 3-4 years and over and follow the many adventures of Dante The Wonder Chi.
Dante is the family dog, he is a Chihuahua, he is very funny and clever and has a BIG personality.
He brings so much joy to our family and to anyone who meets him. He is truly a gift that I would like to share with children everywhere.
Currently, there are 8 books in the series. More adventures are coming in the near future!

Visits The Vet
SYNOPSIS
Our lovable chihuahua finds himself facing a new challenge, a trip to the Vet.Ā When Dante gets stung by a bee, he is left feeling scared and worried. With his tiny nose swollen and throbbing, itās time for Dante to see the Vet.
Young readers are taken on a journey of empathy and understanding. Through Dante’s eyes, children learn that even the bravest of adventurers can feel anxious in unfamiliar situations. But as Dante soon discovers, there’s nothing to fear when you’re in the caring hands of a vet.
Book 3 – Dante The Wonder Chi
His Neighbourhood Friends
SYNOPSIS
We are introduced to Dante’s delightful neighbourhood fur friends, each with their own unique quirks and personalities. From the fluffy Poodle who loves to strut to the Pug who loves his donuts.Ā Dante’s neighbourhood is a vibrant just waiting to be discovered.
But it’s not just Dante’s fellow four-legged companions who make his neighbourhood so special.Ā Dante eagerly watches the world go by from his cosy spot on the mat from his front verandah.Ā From the delivery man, the postman to children riding their bikes to and from school and families out for a leisurely stroll, Dante takes delight in observing characters who call his neighbourhood home.
Book 4 – Dante The Wonder Chi
A Day At The Farm
SYNOPSIS
Dante embarks on a delightful adventure to Farmer Joe’s Farm, a short drive away from home with his mummy and daddy.
As Dante explores the farm, he is introduced to many farm animals.Ā Ā Ā It’s not just the animals that capture Dante’s imagination.Ā Dante and his family set out to explore the fields, where they’re greeted by rows upon rows of ripe fruits and vegetables just waiting to be picked. Ā Dante learns the importance of hard work and the satisfaction of harvesting the fruits and vegetables.Ā Dante also learns the many jobs that a farmer does to run a farm.
Book 5 – Dante The Wonder Chi
The Birthday Party
SYNOPSIS
Dante is in for a day of joyous celebration ā itās his BIRTHDAY.Ā With his tail wagging, Dante counts down the moments until his special friends arrive to help him celebrate.
Daddy has hung up the decorations, mummy has been in the kitchen baking his birthday cake and many biscuits and cookies.Ā Happiness fills the air.Ā What presents will he receive?Ā There’s even a special guest in attendance ā Chuckles the Clown, whose antics and magic tricks leave Dante and his friends giggling with glee.
But the true magic of the party lies not just in the presents, but in the bonds of friendship that are strengthened with each passing moment. As Dante and his friends play games, share treats, and cuddle up together, the love and laughter that fill the room are a testament to the special bond they share.

Spooky Halloween
SYNOPSIS
As Halloween night descends upon Dante’s neighbourhood, Dante wears his superhero costume, ready to embark on a thrilling adventure filled with treats, tricks, and spooky surprises.
His daddy has hung up all the decorations and his mummy busies herself in the kitchen, whipping up many delicious Halloween treats to share with the neighbourhood children.
The children will come trick or treating to Danteās door.Ā Ā Dante will also go out with his Daddy, he is so excited.Ā This book is sure to enchant young readers leaving them to dream of their own magical adventures on Halloween.

Travels The World
SYNOPSIS
Our adventurous chihuahua sets off with his mummy and daddy to travel the world. The world is a big place, so they can only visit a few countries.Ā Ā Dante eagerly explores new lands and cultures, learning fascinating facts about each country they visit.
Dante’s travels take him to different corners of the globe, each destination offering its own unique blend of sights, sounds, and experiences.
With each turn of the page, they’ll uncover fascinating facts about a different country and what that country is famous for, broadening their horizons and expanding their understanding of the world around them

Santa’s Little Helper
SYNOPSIS
Dante has been a good boy all year.Ā Ā Santa Claus has invited Dante to visit the North Pole to be Santaās Little Helper.Ā Dante is so excited!Ā Ā Ā
Dante flies to the North Pole, meets Santa, Mrs Claus, the Elves and the Reindeer.Ā He helps the Elves wrap all the presents and will be helping Santa as he delivers presents to all children and adults on Christmas Eve.Ā Ā Dante has a very important job to do !Ā Ā Ā
